TIMI Risk Score (STEMI) calculator
Result
0/ 14
30-day mortality ~0.8%
How to use it
- 1
Age points. Age 65–74 = 2 points; age ≥75 = 3 points. All other criteria = 1 point each.
- 2
Check haemodynamic status. SBP < 100, HR > 100, and Killip II–IV each reflect haemodynamic compromise.
- 3
Anterior/LBBB. Anterior STEMI or new LBBB represents larger territory at risk.
When to use it
- STEMI at presentation
- Identifies highest-risk patients needing IABP, haemodynamic monitoring, or primary PCI without delay.
- Transfer decision-making
- High TIMI STEMI score supports direct transfer to PCI centre rather than thrombolysis.
- Post-STEMI prognosis
- Risk-stratifies patients for intensity of in-hospital monitoring and secondary prevention.
A reference for clinicians and students, not medical advice. A score supports a decision; it does not make one. Check every result against the patient in front of you and your local protocol.
