How spaced repetition worksWard works like your music app. A card or question is a track, a deck is an album, and a playlist mixes items from many decks. Ward builds some playlists for you, you make your own, and the charts show what actually helps people learn.

Charts rank playlists and decks by how well people learn with them. A playlist that many people open but nobody learns from never climbs, and one made by a student can beat Ward’s own.
Opens alone never put something in a chart: 100,000 opens with poor learning do not rank.
A chart only includes what at least 3 people have studied, so every chart starts empty and fills as people learn.
