When to use it
- NSTEMI or unstable angina at presentation
- Guides early invasive vs. conservative decision alongside GRACE.
- Comparison with GRACE
- GRACE is more accurate; TIMI is simpler. Use both to triangulate risk.
- Not for STEMI
- TIMI STEMI score is a separate tool.
A reference for clinicians and students, not medical advice. A score supports a decision; it does not make one. Check every result against the patient in front of you and your local protocol.
