Background
Only a minority of patients benefit from immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), and established biomarkers such as PD-L1 expression and tumour mutational burden predict response imperfectly. We evaluated whether TIL density predicts outcomes of ICI therapy across solid tumours.
