Abstract
Pilomatrixoma and pilomatrix carcinoma are tumors derived from hair follicle matrix cells. They have different clinical behaviors and prognoses. We present two cases that illustrate both entities, with the aim of highlighting the differences in their clinical presentation, imaging, and histopathological findings, as well as key aspects of their diagnosis and management in clinical practice.
