Optical genome mapping provides genome-wide detection of structural abnormalities in myeloid neoplasms. Its incremental clinical value depends on whether additional findings change diagnosis or established prognostic categories. This review evaluated diagnostic yield and risk reclassification relative to conventional cytogenetics.
