Abstract
Oral cavity cancer encompasses malignant neoplasms affecting the lips, tongue, gums, floor of the mouth, and palate. Despite advances, diagnoses mostly occur at advanced stages, which negatively impacts the prognosis.
Objective
To evaluate mortality from oral cavity cancer in the municipality of Saquarema from 1979 to 2022.
