Abstract
Objective
To describe the nursing care provided for the management of toxicities associated with radiotherapy and to analyze their association with toxicities observed in patients with gynecologic cancer.
Methods
A retrospective cross-sectional study was conducted at a specialized oncology service. Electronic medical records of 386 women with gynecologic cancer who underwent teletherapy and/or high-dose-rate brachytherapy between 2019 and 2022 were analyzed. Descriptive analyses and tests of association between toxicities and nursing care were performed.
