Abstract
Introduction
Age-related reduction in motor strength, the processing of the neural signals, and sensory function has an effect on postural control and mobility. Hamstring tightness is a commonly observed musculoskeletal impairment in the elderly, which plays a crucial role in maintaining stability, smooth movement, and balance. Hence, it is thought that the interventions that target Flexibility and neuromuscular function may improve balance and reduce the risk of falls. Neural Mobilisation (NM) has been reported to increase hamstring flexibility by reducing neural mechanosensitivity and also by restoring ideal physiological functions of the musculoskeletal system.
