Awareness-utilisation paradox in health information, provider choice, and care-seeking behaviour among urban older adults in coastal Karnataka, India

Abstract
Financing studies explain why older adults cannot afford care but not why many who can afford it, and even own the tools to find it, still don't use it. In this population, smartphone ownership, awareness of subsidised medicines, and insurance coverage were common, yet actual use of each fell far short of awareness.
