Uncovering the Unique Tumor Microenvironment of Ovarian Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma by Single-cell RNA Sequencing

Abstract
Our findings demonstrate that neuroendocrine marker genes and associated gene regulatory networks in SCNECO differ from those observed in pulmonary neuroendocrine carcinomas available in the GEO database, supporting a tissue specific origin for these malignancies. Collectively, this work addresses a critical gap in the understanding of SCNECO and provides valuable insights to guide chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy approaches.
