Abstract
A 21-year-old woman with end-stage renal disease secondary to Alport syndrome, on maintenance haemodialysis for four years, presented with generalised myalgias and a tender chest-wall nodule. She was continuing on twice a week hemodialysis at a stand-alone dialysis centre. She had poor adherence to medication, and had not consulted a nephrologist for the last three years. Examination revealed a firm, mildly tender 2 × 3 cm nodule over the right second-to-third rib anteriorly.
