Abstract
Summary: Background: Hand hygiene (HH) is an effective, safe, and cost-effective measure for preventing healthcare-associated infections (HAIs); improving HH compliance can reduce HAI rates. HH product consumption is one of the indicators used to assess HH performance, and analysing this consumption can support the enhancement of HH management.
