Interpretations ... adverse drug reactions
Abstract
The Standards Interpretation Committee recently approved the following interpretations concerning the definition and review of adverse drug reactions, as well as the review of surgical and other invasive procedures. The latter interpretation is based on standards revisions that appear in the Accreditation Manual for Hospitals (AMH), Volume I, 1992 edition.
