GYN screening guildelines
Abstract
Women are recommended to have a Pap smear three months after treatment for dysplasia. A table is provided to illustrate the course of testing and treatment suggested based on the results of the Pap smear. Women are also advised to have a Pap smear performed at three months whether or not there is a history of abnormal Pap or colposcopy in the past year. Results of positive and negative Pap smear tests are listed in the tables that follow with advice on treatment and repeat testing.
