Lower lumbar (L3-L5) burst fractures are uncommon injuries with distinct clinical and biomechanical characteristics. We evaluated injury patterns, surgical management, and outcomes in patients treated at a single center and performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to assess neurological and functional outcomes reported in the literature.
