Clinical Pattern of Tuberculosis in Diabetic Patients-An Observational Study
By Mohammad Syedul Islam.
Abstract
Background
Tuberculosis (TB) and diabetes mellitus (DM) pose significant global health challenges and have a reciprocal relationship. Diabetes heightens the risk of TB due to weakened immune responses, leading to more severe illness, slower treatment response, and worse outcomes. This study sought to assess the clinical features and disease trends of TB in diabetic individuals visiting a tertiary care facility in Bangladesh.
