Abstract
Introduction
Loss of teeth leads to decreased quality of life due to inability to chew food and altered facial esthetics. This situation can be overcomplicated by a history of surgical removal of part or whole of jaw. Complications include difficult mastication, unintelligible speech and difficult oral hygiene maintenance. In this case, a middle aged patient presented with completely edentulous maxillary arch who had undergone enucleation of periapical cyst in the premaxillary region without augmentation. The resultant defect caused food and fluid retention and problem in keeping the area clean after meals.
