Features of cholecystectomy in elderly and senile patients with severe comorbidities
By Jumanazarova Mokhinur.
Abstract
This article analyzes the specific challenges of surgical treatment fornbsp; cholelithiasis in geriatric patients presenting with advanced comorbidities (ischemicnbsp; heart disease, COPD, diabetes mellitus). The risks associated with standard high pressure carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum, methods of preoperative optimization, nbsp; and alternative minimally invasive strategies are explored. The study emphasizesnbsp; the critical role of a multidisciplinary approach and the minimization of operativenbsp; and anesthetic stress to decrease postoperative mortality.
