Cumulative disease-course phenotypes in Crohn’s disease: a retrospective single-centre FAMD clustering study
By Caridi B, Amoroso C, Pozzi L and 9 others.
Abstract
Background and aims: Crohn’s disease (CD) is a highly heterogeneous disease. Patients with similar characteristics at baseline may end up on very different therapeutic and surgical paths. We aimed to identify disease-course trajectory phenotypes from a mix of clinical, treatment, surgical and comorbidity variables, and evaluate whether information already available at diagnosis could anticipate which trajectory a patient would follow.
