By Insha Iqbal, Kousar Perveen and Sajida Batool.
Abstract
Background
Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological disorder that represents a growing global health challenge due to increasing prevalence, disability, and the need for comprehensive long-term care. Nurses play a vital role in managing patients with Parkinson’s disease through assessment, education, symptom monitoring, and supportive care. Adequate knowledge and positive attitudes among nursing students are essential for preparing competent future healthcare professionals; however, gaps in neurological education may affect their readiness to provide effective care.
