Abstract
Adult intussusception is a rare cause of an obstructive syndrome, and it is often secondary. Here, we report the case of a 63-year-old patient, a current smoker, who presented with an obstructive syndrome. An abdominal CT scan revealed a colo-colic intussusception. Due to the lack of bowel preparation before surgery, a colorectal resection was performed with a Hartmann-type stoma, and the post-op recovery was uncomplicated.
