Introduction

Hip osteoarthritis is one of the leading causes of pain and functional impairment in adults. Although conventional radiography remains the initial diagnostic method, its correlation with clinical symptoms is limited, and it may appear normal or inconclusive in the early stages. In this context, musculoskeletal ultrasound represents a useful complementary tool for assessing periarticular structures involved in pain generation.
