The Franquero Model of Quantum-Thermodynamic Consciousness (FMQC), Version 1.1
By Keny Wayne Franquero.
Abstract
A hypothesis generating quantum thermodynamic framework for consciousness, in which the brain actively manages thermal noise to protect a fragile quantum coherent substrate within neural microtubules. The model is formalized as a modified stochastic Kuramoto network with temperature dependent classical and quantum coupling, homeostatic adaptation, and thalamocortical pacemaker drive. Simulations reproduce four clinical signatures: sharp bifurcation at a critical temperature T_c, graceful degradation under focal heating, topological hub vulnerability, and hysteretic recovery from combined anesthetic and thermal insult. This preprint includes falsifiable predictions, pre registered experimental protocols, and full simulation code.
