Abstract
Background
Sacrococcygeal pilonidal sinus disease is a chronic condition with a high tendency to relapse. The Limberg flap is the conventional choice for recurrent and complex disease but involves wide excision, prolonged hospital stay and delayed recovery. Sinus Laser Closure (SiLaC) is a minimally invasive alternative, but comparative data in recurrent and complex disease are lacking.
