Physical Rehabilitation of a Patient with Facial Hemiparesis Following Acoustic Neuroma (Vestibular Schwannoma) Surgery Using Kinesiotherapy and Manual Therapy: A Case Report
By ARNAUT RUSLAN.
Abstract
Abstract This article presents a clinical case demonstrating the effectiveness of a comprehensive approach to the rehabilitation of a patient with facial hemiparalysis after the removal of a vestibular schwannoma. The treatment included a combination of manual therapy and kinesiotherapy. The results showed that this combined approach led to a significant reduction in facial asymmetry, restoration of motor functions, and an improvement in the patient's quality of life, proving its greater effectiveness compared to using each method in isolation.
