Abstract
آدرنالین که با نام اپی‌نفرین نیز شناخته می‌شود، یکی از مهم‌ترین هورمون‌های بدن انسان است. این هورمون توسط غدد فوق کلیوی که درست بالای کلیه‌ها قرار دارند، تولید می‌شود. این هورمون نقش کلیدی در واکنش بدن به استرس، خطر و شرایط اضطراری دارد. آدرنالین بدن را برای «جنگ یا گریز» آماده می‌کند - مکانیسمی برای بقا که به ما کمک می‌کند در موقعیت‌های تهدیدآمیز به سرعت واکنش نشان دهیم.
