Abstract
Objective
To compare the efficacy of terbinafine 1% lotion and cream versus clotrimazole 1% solution and cream in otomycosis.
Study design
Quasi-experimental study. Place and Duration of the study: ENT Department, Combined Military Hospital Multan, Pakistan from Apr to Dec 2023. Methodology: A total of 66 cases of otomycosis were included. They were divided into Group-A (1% Terbinafine) and Group-B (1% Clotrimazole) based on laterality of the infection. Efficacy was analyzed in terms of achievement of complete cure and compared between the two groups.
