Objective

Ambulatory anesthesia has become a cornerstone of modern surgical care, yet its scientific literature has not previously been subjected to a comprehensive bibliometric evaluation. This study aimed to analyze global research output on ambulatory anesthesia between 1980 and 2025 and to identify publication trends, the most productive countries, institutions, authors, and journals, influential articles, and emerging research themes.
