Abstract
Abstract Introduction: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is one of the most severe complications of cirrhosis. Infection and hypovolemia are the main precipitating factors. Pharmacotherapeutic agents such as albumin, somatostatin analogs, terlipressin, noradrenaline, and midodrine have been recommended in various combinations to correct AKI.
