Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors influencing 100-meter sprint speed among students of the Sports Coaching Education Program at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo through a literature review approach. The research employed a literature study method by collecting and analyzing relevant scientific sources, including national and international journals, books, undergraduate theses, master's theses, and conference proceedings published within the last five years. Data were collected through literature searches in various academic databases using keywords related to 100-meter sprint speed and sprint performance. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques through the processes of identification, classification, comparison, and synthesis of previous research findings. The results indicate that 100-meter sprint performance is influenced by several factors, including stride frequency, stride length, acceleration ability, sprinting technique, reaction time at the start, lower limb strength and explosive power, as well as training programs. Furthermore, proper biomechanical techniques and structured training programs have been shown to contribute significantly to sprint performance improvement. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that improving 100-meter sprint speed among Sports Coaching Education students requires the development of physical condition supported by proper sprint techniques and systematic training programs to achieve optimal performanceapplication of physical fitness exercises that are managed without using other learning glasses.
