Abstract
Background
Pheochromocytoma is a highly vascular neuroendocrine tumor with variable biological behavior. Reliable biomarkers reflecting tumor aggressiveness remain limited. This study evaluated apelin and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression in pheochromocytoma and their associations with histopathological prognostic parameters.
