Abstract
Background
Postoperative delirium is common after major head and neck cancer surgery. We investigated whether intraoperative dexmedetomidine infusion was associated with a lower incidence of postoperative delirium in patients undergoing head and neck cancer surgery requiring free-flap reconstruction.
