Abstract
Abstract Background: Severe community-acquired pneumonia (sCAP) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in children. We assessed the impact of incorporating the BioFire FilmArray Pneumonia Panel (BFPP) into an established antimicrobial stewardship program (ASP) on antimicrobial prescriptions in children with sCAP admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
