By Mouly SA, Akter R and Islam F.
Abstract
Background
Pre-eclampsia remains a leading cause of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality worldwide, with a disproportionately high burden in low- and middle-income countries. Nurses are often the first healthcare providers to encounter pregnant women in obstetric emergency settings, making their knowledge of pre-eclampsia management critical for timely intervention and prevention of complications.
