By Ayşegül ATLI.
Abstract
Falls among older adults worldwide represent a significant problem due to their negative effects on morbidity, mortality, quality of life, and healthcare services and costs [1,2].Falls account for approximately 40% of injury-related deaths [3].Following falls, functional independence decreases in older individuals, which negatively affects quality of life [4,5].Therefore, interventions aimed at reducing fall risk in older adults are of great importance. In particular, home modifications have been recommended as a Case Study
