Abstract
Children and adults with myotonia manifest the same skeletal muscle ion-channel pathophysiology, but pediatric evidence for antimyotonic treatment is limited. A paediatric investigation plan (PIP) is investigating mexiletine's safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and effectiveness to confirm posology.
