Biceps Tendon Infiltration: Comparing Precision of Anatomical Landmark Guidance Versus Ultrasound Guidance in a Cadaveric Study
By Julian Saiz Guzman, Estefanía Guzmán Bustillo, Felipe Valbuena and 2 others.
Abstract
Shoulder pain syndrome is a frequent reason for orthopedic consultations. The causes and origins of the pain vary, but common conditions include long head biceps tenosynovitis, subacromial impingement syndrome, rotator cuff tendinosis, subacromial bursitis, and labral lesions8. Accurate clinical diagnosis is often challenging due to the complexity of anatomical structures in the anterior shoulder region.
