Resection of intramedullary spinal cord hemangioblastoma with D-wave, neuromonitoring: 2-dimensional operative video
By Juliana C. Capp, E. Matthew Hoffman, Daniel H. Lachance and 2 others.
Abstract
We provide a rare case of a patient who presented with an intramedullary spinal cord hemangioblastoma and underwent resection. This operative video includes discussion of technical nuances of intramedullary spinal cord hemangioblastoma resection and how to incorporate advanced neuromonitoring techniques such as D-wave monitoring to decrease the neurologic risk of the operation. The patient gave informed consent for the procedure and video recording. There is no identifying information in this video. Institutional review board approval was deemed unnecessary.
