Abstract
Penile schwannoma is an exceptionally rare benign peripheral nerve sheath tumor, with fewer than 40 cases reported in the literature. We present the case of a 37-year-old man in whom a 1-cm penile nodule was incidentally discovered during varicocele repair surgery. The lesion was completely excised and histopathological examination demonstrated characteristic Antoni A and Antoni B areas, Verocay bodies, and hyalinized vascular walls. Immunohistochemistry showed strong S-100 positivity, confirming the diagnosis of schwannoma. This case highlights the diagnostic role of histopathology and immunohistochemistry and the excellent outcome following complete surgical excision.
