Drug interaction risks persist among older adults, study says
By Valerie A. Canady.
Abstract
More than one in five older Americans may be at risk for a potentially major drug‐drug interaction, despite a slight decline in such interactions in recent years, according to new research published Sept. 24 in JAMA Network . Antidepressants, statins and antiplatelet therapies were the medications most commonly involved in potentially major interactions.
