Résumé
Lymphoma-associated plexopathy is a cause of refractory neuropathic pain. Pulsed radiofrequency a safe neuromodulation option. This report highlights the use of radiofrequency to treat neuropathic pain in a 64-year-old male with residual symptoms of lymphoma-associated brachial plexopathy. The patient presented with severe, drug-resistant pain and allodynia; following a nerve block, radiofrequency was applied to the median, radial, pulsed and ulnar nerves. After nine months, pain had significantly decreased without complications, leading improved functionality. These results suggest that radiofrequency is a promising treatment for refractory neuropathic pain and should be considered for patients with complex cancer-related pain.
