Resumen
Background
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a prevalent hormonal disorder linked to adverse effects. metabolic, reproductive, endocrine, and psychological consequences among women in reproductive age.
Objective
This study aimed to assess the knowledge of women regarding polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), at Farooq colony community. Methodology: A quantitative cross sectional study design was used for this study.This study was carried out in farooq colony community.This study was completed in 3 months after approval of Ethical Research Committee. Sample size of 163 cases is Calculated with 95% confidence interval. Data was collected by using self developed demographic form and emotional distress scale. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 25.
