Resumen
Introduction
The vicinity of Maxillary sinus (MS) to the maxillary posterior teeth can lead to a misdiagnosis due to the fact that pathologic conditions of MS can result in symptoms pertaining to dental pathology and vice versa.1 Maxillofacial radiologists often come across the incidence of these abnormalities in the MS area in CBCT scans.
Objectives
The current research aimed to record and assess the prevalence of incidental pathologies of MS using Cone Beam CT scans. Evaluation the MS for intrinsic diseases, extrinsic diseases and to correlate the sinus pathologies with gender were the objectives of the study.
