Exploring public health equity in digital access: voices from marginalized groups using the "Mawid" application in Saudi Arabia
By Al-Anezi FM.
Abstract
Background
Digitalization of healthcare services can significantly enhance the services and access to quality care. However, the equity implications of access to healthcare by such digital health platforms for marginalized populations remain underexplored, especially in the countries which are rapidly transforming their healthcare system through digitalization, such as Saudi Arabia. In this context, this study aims to investigate digital inclusion and health equity among users of the Saudi Ministry of Health's "Mawid" application.
