Associations of Nonspecific Autoantibodies with Recurrent Pregnancy Loss and Pregnancy Outcomes Following Immunological Intervention: A Single-Centre Retrospective Cohort Study

Abstract
Background
Immune dysfunction has been implicated in the aetiology of recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL). While there are currently clear guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of connective tissue diseases and typical/atypical antiphospholipid syndrome, with highly effective outcomes, none exist for patients with RPL who, despite a lack of clinical symptoms, have abnormal levels of two or more immune-related markers. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between non-specific autoantibodies and RPL, as well as the impact of immunotherapy on pregnancy outcomes in patients with RPL and positive antinuclear antibody (ANA) profiles.
