Ozonated solution lavage combined with topical fluconazole and immunomodulation versus conventional therapy for otomycosis in children: A prospective comparative study
By Juraboy O. Sulaymonov and Ergashev Ulug'bek Murodovich.
Abstract
Otomycosis is common in children living in hot climates, and conventional topical antifungal or antiseptic therapy is often slow and followed by relapse. Medical ozone has broad, resistance-free antimicrobial and immunomodulatory activity, but its role in paediatric otomycosis has not been evaluated.
