Long-Term Outcomes of Autoaugmentation for Neurogenic Bladders: A Single- Surgeon Retrospective Paired Cohort Analysis
By Diovic S. Tan and David T. Bolong.
Abstract
Background
Neurogenic bladder dysfunction may lead to impaired bladder compliance, elevated storage pressures, recurrent urinary tract infections, vesicoureteral reflux, hydronephrosis, and renal deterioration. Bladder autoaugmentation offers a bowel-sparing reconstructive option, but long-term outcome data remain limited.
