Non-pharmacological strategies for the prevention and/or management of delirium in adults: a scoping review protocol with evidence mapping
By Rodríguez-Mondéjar Juan José, David Alonso Crespo and César Leal Costa.
Abstract
This scoping review will map non-pharmacological strategies described for the prevention and/or management of delirium in adults. It will follow Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and will be reported according to PRISMA-ScR. The review will organize the available evidence by intervention type, clinical context, target population, outcomes assessed and evidence maturity where feasible. Its purpose is to provide an overview of the field, clarify how strategies have been studied and identify knowledge gaps for future research.
