By Pedro Alberto Sariol González, Kristian Yetzely Moncada Flórez, Yunior Meriño Pompa and 1 others.
Abstract
Introduction
atrial fibrillation is the most common sustained arrhythmia in clinical practice, and its management continues to evolve rapidly. This frequent cardiac rhythm disturbance accounts for approximately one-third of hospitalizations due to cardiac arrhythmia.
Objective
to morphometrically assess biatrial function via echocardiography in patients with atrial fibrillation following sinus rhythm recovery after pharmacological or electrical cardioversion.
